Nick Stahl, CFF®, NSSA®, CAS®

President & Founder, Financial Advisor

Nick's passion and experience lie in showing people how to help maximize their Social Security benefits, provide asset protection strategies from market volatility, and develop strategies to aid in reducing taxes. As a lover of numbers and formulas, building income plans and retirement strategies comes naturally to Nick.

Nick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience; he brings to the table 10 years in financial services and for three of those years as a financial instructor for the American Financial Education Alliance. He is one of five National Security Advisor Certificate Holders in the state of Oregon. He also passed his Series 65 in May of 2022.

Nick values integrity and excellence in business, and prizes honesty and sincerity in people. He lives in Sisters, Oregon with his wife Rilley, twin daughters Savvy & Kohvey, and their dogs, River and Rocky.

Fun Facts about Nick: He has skydived 17 times, he once met President George Bush Sr. in a helicopter, and has hitch hiked across the country of Belize.

Alexa Nottingham

Director of Client Services

With over 10 years of experience in customer service and client relations management, Alexa is our secret weapon. She has a knack for the interpersonal, developing relationships at every opportunity with colleagues and clients alike. Alexa has used these collaborative skills to facilitate connection and trust within our team and, most importantly, with the clients we serve here at BluePine Financial.

As Director of Client Services, she harnesses her natural congeniality and exceptional creativity to formulate a client service approach that reflects the time, care and integrity with which we endeavor to serve. From handling service requests to coordinating client appreciation events, Alexa is here to assist you at every step.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Alexa has a strong love for both adventure and the great outdoors. She lives in Redmond with her husband, children and their animals. Alexa, who has been to every national park in the Western U.S., left the country for the first time in February 2020. She once sat next to actor Laurence Fishburne on a plane.

Tiffany Briggs

Operations Manager

As BluePine's Operations Manager, Tiffany helps to ensure that our day-to-day activities run smoothly and that BluePine clients' needs are met. She is a professional in customer service and business management. With her competitive knowledge of software platforms and acute attention to detail, she is adept at organizing and balancing multiple competing forces simultaneously.

Coming from a background managing two teams in a rapidly growing startup environment, she is well versed in professional service and communication. In her previous employment, she helped a business grow into a publicly traded company in a short amount of time. This was accomplished while staying true to her core values which are integrity, honesty, and altruism. Tiffany has a true passion for helping others.

Although Tiffany was born and raised in Bend, Oregon, she has spent time living in Alaska, Wyoming, Nevada, and California. Amidst all of these experiences, Central Oregon has always been her home. She has a degree from Oregon State University in Human Development and Family Studies and graduated Cum Laude while raising three boys with her husband of 19 years.

Fun facts about Tiffany: She is a third generation Oregonian. Tiffany’s grandfather worked at the Brooks-Scanlon Lumber Mill, which is now known as the Old Mill; Central Oregon’s popular shopping district. In her spare time, she enjoys canning food from locally grown harvests and spending time with her family which includes her 150-pound Newfoundland dog.

Shreve Briggs, RSSA (Registered Social Security Analyst)

Financial Advisor

As a financial advisor, Shreve is responsible for interpreting and advising on clients’ retirement portfolios. With an emphasis on potentially minimizing taxes among competing factors, Shreve is continually on the lookout for future opportunities to help achieve tax efficiency. Coming from a background in management and analytics, Shreve has spent ample time studying impacts of numbers and formulas on complex situations. With an accounting background, Shreve is poised and ready to make sense of our clients’ tax situations and to help mitigate inefficiencies.

Growing up in Sisters, Oregon, and attending Sisters schools from K-12 provided an amazing opportunity for Shreve to explore the outdoors while getting his early education. In his twenties, he earned an associate degree in automotive technology with an emphasis in business administration from Wyoming Technical Institute. Later, he decided to attend Oregon State University-Cascades and earned a bachelor’s in accountancy. A natural-born student, he currently most enjoys studying accounting, finance and economics. Organization, collaboration and hard work are competitive advantages that he brings to the table. When Shreve does not have his head in a book, he loves to spend time with his wife and their three sons.

Fun Facts: Shreve has been described as having the attributes of a Swiss Army knife. He’s the type of guy who could provide tax-efficient strategies while fixing your car. When he was 18 years old, he attended Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School in Pomona, California. During this training he built a 2,500 horsepower engine and installed it into a Federal-Mogul funny car that broke the six-second mark in the quarter mile at approximately 240 mph.

Bryan Clothey

Health Insurance Professional

For more than 20 years, Bryan has made it his business to improve the lives of the individuals and families around him, particularly those entrusted to his influence and care. Unwavering in his value for integrity and transparency, Bryan gives unceasing effort to discovering and delivering the best tactics for anyone seeking to better their future. He finds joy in curating solutions and presenting avenues of positive change for any circumstance.

Bryan is particularly fond of the generations before him and has spent many years closely working with people of all ages.

Bryan is the oldest of six sons, priding himself on being the firstborn of his five beloved brothers. He is a huge fan of the music, shows, and movies of the 70s and 80s. Miami Vice and The A-Team are two of his all-time favorite shows, and he enjoys blaring acts like Toto and Christopher Cross through his speakers at home; his wife Lydia swears his soul is from another time. Bryan grew up in the sunny city of San Diego and claims that you can’t find better carne asada tacos anywhere else.

Most of all, Bryan loves living life and going on adventures with Lydia, his lovely wife, and their goofy dog, Boaz.

Ånna Rohrer

Office Manager

Ånna will be the first voice you hear on the phone and the first face you see when you come to Bluepine Financial. Her goal is making clients feel comfortable and welcome and making their Bluepine Financial experience exceptionally positive. She carries with her a passion for meaningful connections along with a drive for excellence in customer service.

Ånna’s diverse background consists of a childhood spent in Singapore, New England, and Alberta, Canada and international travels have taken her through Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, and East Africa. After earning her bachelor’s degree in social science and communication from Oregon State University, she spent time in New Mexico before returning to Oregon to build her administrative skills in both the medical and non-profit fields. With over seven years of experience helping organize and manage office operations and procedures, Ånna can’t wait to meet you and help make your journey to financial confidence smooth and efficient.

Fun facts: One of Ånna's most notable hobbies is long-distance trail running. Inspired by trying to keep up with her older brothers playing soccer as a kid, she delved into high school track and cross-country and now runs ultra-marathon races. When she isn’t training for a race, you can find her spending time with friends and family, exploring the mountains and lakes of Central Oregon, or hopping on a plane to experience adventure in a different part of the world.
